Abstract
Substituted 1, 3-benzothiazole derivatives are
an important class of heterocyclic compounds. It is a combination of two rings
six membered and five membered and both the rings are responsible for the
therapeutic activity. Benzothiazole is a class of heterocyclic compound having
two hetero atoms namely Sulphur and nitrogen. The analogues of benzothiazole
and its derivatives have a significant role in research area especially in
synthetic, medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry because of its biological and
pharmacological properties. Our study’s major goal is to disseminate up-to-date
knowledge regarding synthesised Benzothiazole analogues and related biological
activity against a variety of disorders. The benzothiazole possesses a wide
spectrum of biological activities such as antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant,
anti-Inflammatory, anticonvulsant, antimalarial and some miscellaneous
Activity. Hence, various methodologies have been Accomplished to synthesize
benzothiazole compounds considering the purity, yield, and selectivity of the
products.
